Atmospheric cottage with spectacular views

Oravahovi is an atmospheric cottage with a spectacular lake view. The cottage comes equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Beds can be found in two bedrooms, a fireplace room, a loft and an attic. Both bedrooms have two separate beds. The fireplace sleeps one. The loft sleeps three and it is connected to the attic. The attic also has its own separate entrance from the outside and there are two separate beds there. An extra bed can be booked from the list of additional services. We ask you to notify us if you need a crib or a highchair.

Cottage amenities include a well-equipped kitchen that comes with a coffeemaker, a toaster, a kettle, a mixer, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer, a microwave oven, a stove and an oven, dishes for 12 and plenty of kitchenware for you to cook comfortably. Fast Wi-Fi makes remote working possible and connects you to the world outside the cottage.

The cottage has two toilets, one shower and a wood-heated indoor sauna. Utility room has a washing machine and a drying cabinet. We recommend that the guests bring their own shampoos and other shower items. Towels and linens can be booked from the list of extra services. Floor heating adds extra comfort during your stay.

The terrace has a gas grill and a table with chairs. The beach has its own separate sauna with a shower cabin. You can walk to the pier and the lake barefoot along wooden pathway. Firewood is stored in the beach sauna. The beach is very child friendly, with sandy bottom and clear water.

The cottage is available for use from 16:00 on arrival day until 12:00 on departure day, unless agreed upon differently. This cottage is suitable for people with allergies, therefore unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Villa Oravahovi. Pets are more than welcome in Villa Oravasalmi instead, located at the end of the peninsula.

Lake Suolajärvi and nearby waters are favoured among fishermen. The cottage comes with a rowing boat and a set of safety vests. You can bring your own small outboard motor for the boat. There is a boat landing place along the road that leads to the cottage, should you have your own boat with you.
